A typical pasta packaging system combines a Z-type bucket elevator, multi-head combination weigher, support platform, vertical pouch packaging machine and finished product conveyor. The complete system can automatically feed, weigh, fill, form bags, seal and discharge finished pasta packages.

This video shows the automatic packaging process for pasta and macaroni products.
The system consists of a Z-type bucket elevator, 10-head combination weigher, support platform, SK-L420 vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) packaging machine and finished product conveyor.
Pasta is first loaded into the 60 L hopper of the Z-type bucket elevator. The elevator automatically transfers the product to the 10-head combination weigher, which measures the required quantity according to the preset packing weight.
The VFFS packaging machine forms bags from roll film and automatically completes bag forming, date coding, product filling, heat sealing and bag cutting. The finished pasta bags are then transferred away from the packaging machine by the discharge conveyor.
The complete system provides an automatic process from product feeding and weighing to bag forming, filling, sealing and finished product discharge.
